TURNING & SWITCHING DIRECTIONS WITH THE BALL

Being able to switch directions while maintaining control and possesion of the ball will make you a much better soccer player; practice this skill often.

The video below will give you 5 ways to effectively switch direction while dibbleing the ball.  Practice these drills every night and watch your ball control soar!

  1. Use the inside and outside of the RIGHT foot to change directions
  2. Ulse the inside and outside of the LEFT foot to change directions
  3. Use BOTH feet at the same time alternating between the your two feet
  4. HEAL CRUYFF - push the ball with your heal behind the leading foot 
  5. ROLL TOUCH - roll the ball under your foot to change directions
